Wanting to be seen.Growing up comes with a lot of emotions and questions—and not always enough safe spaces to talk about them.This session is for teen girls who want honest conversation\, meaningful reflection\, and practical guidance while navigating life\, identity\, relationships\, emotions\, and confidence through an Islamic perspective.Come as you are. Ask questions. Listen\, reflect\, and connect. \n\nThis program is suited for teen girls ages 14-18 \n(Parents will not be present during the sessions) \n\n\n\nMeet the Instructor: \nAalimah Khadija Basith is an accomplished educator and leader with over 16 years of experience in both private Islamic and public educational settings. She holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from DePaul University and completed a rigorous two-year Principal Preparation Program at Concordia University\, earning her Illinois school leadership certification. Her academic journey is further enriched by her completion of a five-year Alimah program through Darululoom Online. \nKhadija has served in various impactful roles throughout her career\, including three years as an Instructional Coach and one year as Director of Enrichment Programs at Carriers of Light\, where she designed and led initiatives that nurtured confident\, spiritually grounded learners. She currently serves as a Teacher Coach at Masjid Uthman and advises several Islamic and public schools in the area\, supporting educators in creating classrooms rooted in both academic excellence and Islamic values. \n\n\n\nPlease note: All tickets are non-refundable. \nFinancial assistance is available.
